This is a legacy Mathalicious lesson, and it will be retired June 1, 2022. You have access until your legacy subscription expires, but new users can not access it (even with this link).

We'd be happy to suggest a great Citizen Math lesson to replace it.

Can I express my gratitude for this lesson? I used it today to introduce conditional probability to my AP Stats classes. We had such a great time and it was actually on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of excitement. I ended up doing this 4 times today-- yes, I have that many sections of AP Stats! What I loved about it was that with each class, it was a little different. I knew my sports fans would love it. What I wasn't expecting was that people who aren't into sports had fun, too. It is great that they have to do math to get to the next clip to see what happened. There was a strong sense of urgency to do the math in order to to move on. Thank you!

You may, and THANK YOU for sharing, Natalie! Can we quote on the "on-the-edge-of-your-seat kind of excitement?!" Tell your kiddos we're glad they enjoyed it. We've added a whole basket of Stats lessons over the past year...have you found your next one yet?
